Bartkira

Contributions to the Bartkira Project, published in Vol.1.

Background: Bartkira is a Simpsons x Akira cross-over parody. The project was inspired by Ryan Humphrey’s work which in turn inspired many-a-meme as well as this project. Spearheaded by comic artist James Harvey, the work saw over 500 artists around the world collaborate to recreate the first two volumes of the manga epic Akira using Simpsons characters. The project was successfully crowd-funded, and its work exhibited around the globe in locations such as Tokyo, Yokohama, Paris, and Los Angeles.
